Janiyah Powell, our esteemed Brand Ambassador at We Are 1, embodies the essence of our movement. Not only does she passionately represent our brand, but she also exemplifies our core values in every facet of her life. Currently an honor student at North Carolina Central University, Janiyah's dedication extends beyond academics. She actively volunteers both on her campus and during her school breaks with the We Are 1 Movement's youth mentoring program.

Janiyah's commitment to the community is unparalleled. She is consistently on the front lines, engaging with the community door-to-door, building genuine relationships, assisting those in need, and serving as an exemplary role model for our youth. She has redefined the role of a Brand Ambassador, transforming it into an Ambassador of Change.

Her academic achievements are a testament to her dedication and drive. Recognized by the Urban League of Rochester's Black Scholars Early Recognition Program, a graduate of the Monroe County Sheriff's Office 2021 Teen Police Academy, and a recipient of the Urban/Suburban Core 4 Award for her outstanding GPA in Math, ELA, Science, and History, Janiyah's accolades are numerous. While she had the opportunity to attend various prestigious institutions, she chose North Carolina Central University, where she continues to excel as a straight-A student. We are beyond proud and privileged to have Janiyah Powell championing the We Are 1 Movement as our Brand Ambassador.
